The School Library System selects and purchases subscriptions for members of the system. In this work session, examine and experiment with the SLS subscriptions and ways to provide access to those subscriptions with your learning community. Don't forget to visit pages #2 and #3.
Each year subscription resources are approved by the Rockland School Library System Council using the SLS Collectio
n Development Guidelines to help achieve the Rockland SLS 5-year Plan of Service strategic goals.
TeachingBooks has special functions for librarians/educators. If you do not have the librarian/educator login for TeachingBooks, contact the School Library System.
Contact your School Librarian for access information.
Contact the Rockland School Library System for login credentials. GoGo Library is supported with federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds allocated to the New York State Library by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). The subscription ends May 2027.
All resources purchased by the School Library System are Ed Law 2-d compliant. Data privacy information on School Library System resources is linked from the subscriptions page of the SLS site which is updated yearly.

The easiest and quickest way to add other resources (subscriptions, links, etc.) is to use the Web Links function. If you're in elementary school using the beginner or OWL interface, adding links is even easier.
